Organic Fairtrade Cashews 1kg

High-quality cashew splits, certified organic and Fair Trade (FAITRA).

Origin: Africa (Guinea-Bissau/Burkina Faso).

We chose this origin because it was important to us that:

• If the cashew nuts had fairtrade certification (in addition to being organic), for which we pay a higher price, in order to guarantee decent wages, physical safety for workers, and no use of child labor.
• Sourced from small producers and processed locally.

Much of the cashew fruit that arrives in Europe labeled "made in" Vietnam and India is actually grown in Africa and then shipped to those countries for processing/packaging.

We prefer to shorten these distances and ensure that a larger share of the sales value remains in the country that grows it and with its producers.

The cashew nuts are vacuum-packed for better preservation.
