You can order through our website, Instagram and Facebook. We are also already on sale in some Shops across Portugal.
We deliver to almost the entire country. At the moment, we still do not deliver in the districts of Bragança, Guarda, Vila Real, Viana do Castelo, Madeira Island and the Azores archipelago.
Deliveries are made in refrigerated transport from Monday to Saturday, being delivered in 2 to 5 business days.
Yes, all our products are 100% vegan.
We only use organic ingredients. We do not yet have organic certification but we are working towards it.
We mostly use cashew nuts as the base of our cheeses, as this has the particularity of containing little fiber, which allows us to obtain a very creamy product. In this way, it is a very efficient raw material in the manufacture of vegan cheeses. Furthermore, as it comes from areas with a lot of water, it ends up not needing almost any irrigation (it often grows only with rainwater), unlike other nuts. However, we aim to use national ingredients whenever possible and that is why we also use almonds as the basis of some of our products.
Our almonds come from the Douro region, in northern Portugal, and our cashews come from Burkina Faso. We only use fairtrade cashews as we believe it is essential to protect those who grow our ingredients.
We use the most sustainable packaging we have found. The creams are stored in recyclable and reusable glass jars and the remaining cheeses in home compostable packaging or 100% paper (in the case of V'eden, which does not keep well in the film), made from wood pulp from sustainable forest exploitation. Please compose them at home or in a municipal organic waste container. If there is no way to do this, put them in the common trash as they cannot be recycled. The paper boxes are made from 100% recycled FSC recyclable paper.
We want to promote the reuse of packaging whenever possible. In this sense, we will give a voucher of €0.50 discount on a future purchase for each bottle or delivery box that is returned to us (in good condition). To do so, all you need to do is give us the respective packaging, when we make a new delivery. For logistical reasons, this option is only available for deliveries in the Lisbon area, made by courier, and in markets where we participate weekly.
We are doing our best to ensure our packaging is as environmentally friendly as possible. If you have any suggestions, don't hesitate to send them.
No. Although our cheeses become softer when hot, they will not melt. In any case, they can be added to pasta or pizza and baked.
Consult the label for the specific expiration date for each product. As a reference, these are the minimum expiration dates when we ship the product:
Cajuberto - 15 days
V’eden – 15 days
Brito – 10 days
Creamy (all) - 21 days
All products must be refrigerated at 0-5ºC and consumed within 7 days of opening.
We recommend that you keep the cheeses as dry as possible in the fridge as they can develop mold if there is too much moisture. As with cheeses of animal origin, there will be no problem if you scrape off that part and eat the rest, in the aged/semi-aged cheeses.
All products can be frozen, however, their texture and flavor may change slightly after thawing. Defrosting should be done slowly, inside the refrigerator. We advise you to open the package when defrosting so that the product does not retain too much moisture which could lead to the development of unwanted molds
None of our products contain gluten or lactose. We use a very small amount of miso (a fermented product made from rice and soy) only in our V’eden, so there may be cross-contamination of this ingredient to other cheeses, although this is unlikely.
We advise you to follow your doctor's instructions. Although they do not contain the same risks as cheeses of animal origin, our product undergoes a fermentation process and therefore we cannot guarantee that there will be no risks.
We would love to supply your store! The best way would be to suggest them to buy our products and send us an email to email@example.com with their contact details.
