Cajuberto in the oven with Rosemary and Homemade Jam

Here is a recipe for a warm and delicious appetizer, developed by Joana Limão.

Serves 4 people | preparation: approx. 20 minutes


1 Cajuberto

150g berries

2 tablespoons maple syrup

1 glaze of orange

2 tablespoons of chia seeds

2 rosemary stems

Toasts to serve



  1. Make the jam by boiling the berries with the maple syrup and orange glaze. When the mixture has released the liquid from the fruit, crush slightly and add the chia seeds, mix and let it thicken.
  2. Open the top of the cheese, removing the "lid” and filling it with the jam. Add the rosemary, put back the lid and place it in the oven at 180ºC.
  3. After 10-15 minutes it is ready to serve, just remove the lid and spread on a toast. A delight!
