An easy, quick and perfect recipe for a weekend brunch.
Makes 3 to 4 toasts | preparation: 15 minutes
4 slices of a good sourdough bread
4 well-served spoons of Smoked Cream (1 for each toast)
300g cherry tomatoes
4 garlic cloves
3 tablespoons of olive oil
1 teaspoon of oregano
salt to taste
- Prepare the ingredients by slicing the bread, cutting the cherry tomatoes in half and chopping the garlic. Toast the bread in a frying pan with a little bit of olive oil. Reserve.
- Heat the olive oil in a frying pan, add the garlic and let it fry briefly over medium heat. Add the tomatoes and stir (still over medium heat) until they begin to soften.
- Add the salt and oregano and stir for another minute or two.
- Remove from the heat and assemble the toast: bread, Smoked Cream and the cherry tomato.
